Step 2Account Verification

Every registration is reviewed by Zila administrators before activation.

Passenger Verification Includes

• Identity Verification

• Fraud Prevention Screening

Only approved users can access Zila services.

Step 3Passenger Requests a Ride

Once approved, passengers can:

• Open the Zila App.
• Enter Pickup Location.
• Enter Destination.
• Select Zila Go or Zila Load.
• View Estimated Fare.
• Tap "Request Trip."

The system immediately begins searching for nearby available drivers.

Step 4Driver Matching

Zila's intelligent matching system identifies the nearest available drivers.

The system considers:

• Driver location
• Driver availability
• Driver online status
• Distance from passenger
• Estimated arrival time

Trip requests are automatically sent to online, not engaged nearby drivers.

Step 5Driver Accepts the Request

The driver receives:

• Passenger pickup location
• Estimated trip distance
• Estimated trip fare

The driver may:

• Accept the trip
• Snooze the trip

If snoozed, the request is suspended from being displayed to the driver who snoozed it, but it is still displayed to other nearby drivers.

Step 6Driver Details Are Shared

Once a driver accepts:

The passenger can immediately see:

• Driver Name
• Driver Profile Photo
• Vehicle Make and Model
• Vehicle Colour
• Vehicle Registration Number
• Estimated Arrival Time
• Driver's Live GPS Location

This provides transparency and peace of mind before pickup.

Step 7Real-Time GPS Tracking

Passengers can track their driver in real-time through the Zila app.

Features include:

• Live vehicle location
• Estimated arrival time
• Route updates
• Driver movement tracking

This helps passengers know exactly when their driver will arrive.

Step 8Passenger Pickup

When the driver arrives:

• Passenger confirms the vehicle details.
• Driver confirms passenger identity.
• Passenger confirms car details and the Driver.
• Passenger enters the vehicle.

The driver then taps:

"PICK UP"

Only after this action does the official trip begin.

Step 9Navigation to Destination

Zila's GPS navigation system guides the driver to the passenger's destination.

The system provides:

• Real-time navigation
• Route guidance
• Distance tracking
• Trip monitoring

Passengers continue to see trip progress throughout the journey.

Step 10Communication Between Driver and Passenger

Passengers and drivers can communicate, before the Driver picks up the Passenger, through:

• Real-time In-App Messaging,
• In-App Calling,

Personal phone numbers remain protected, the Driver and Passenger cannot see each other's contact numbers.

Step 11Payment

Passengers may pay using:

Cash

Passenger pays driver directly.

Digital Payments:

Future payment options may include:

• Mobile Money

• Other Electronic Payment Methods

Step 12Trip Completion

When the destination is reached:

The driver taps:

"COMPLETE TRIP"

The system automatically:

• Calculates final distance
• Calculates trip fare
• Records trip details
• Generates trip receipt
• Updates trip history

Step 13Driver Earnings

Drivers receive payment for completed trips.

Zila retains a platform commission.
